Serenity at Masranga Lake: A Hidden Gem in Khulna

Getting There

• Car

  If you're traveling by car, start from Khulna city center and head towards the Khulna-Jessore Highway (N7). Continue on this highway for approximately 20 kilometers until you reach the intersection for the Ahsanullah Road. Take a right onto Ahsanullah Road and drive for about 10 kilometers. Look for signs indicating Masranga Lake (RHV2+WWW, Khulna). Please note that access may be restricted as it is located inside a military base, so check for any required permissions or entry fees beforehand.

• Public Transportation

  To reach Masranga Lake using public transportation, head to the Khulna Bus Terminal and take a local bus heading towards Jessore. Inform the bus conductor that you wish to get off at the Ahsanullah Road intersection. The fare is approximately 50 BDT. Once you arrive, you can either walk or hire a rickshaw to reach Masranga Lake, which is about 10 kilometers away from the bus stop. Be aware that entry may be restricted due to its location inside a military base, so you may need to check for permissions in advance.

• Rickshaw

  If you're already in Khulna city and prefer a rickshaw, you can hire one from any location in the city. Request the driver to take you to the Ahsanullah Road intersection near the Khulna-Jessore Highway. The fare range for a rickshaw ride to the intersection is around 200-300 BDT, depending on your starting point. From the intersection, you may need to walk or hire another rickshaw to reach Masranga Lake. Remember to check for entry restrictions, as it is located within a military area.
