The Central Shaheed Minar is located near Dhaka Medical College and the University of Dhaka, making it easily accessible on foot from these locations. From Dhaka Medical College, simply walk along Secretariat Road towards the monument. From the University of Dhaka, head south towards the Dhaka Medical College. The monument is a short walk from Shahbag Square.

You can also take the Dhaka Metro to a nearby station and then take a short rickshaw or taxi ride to the monument. Bus fares typically start from BDT 10 , and rickshaw fares depend on the distance but shouldn't be more than BDT 30 for most distances.
Taxi
Taxis and CNG rickshaws are readily available throughout Dhaka. Use ride-hailing apps for convenience. A taxi ride from Gulshan to Central Shaheed Minar will cost between BDT 1000-1500.
