Once at the station, purchase a ticket for the train heading towards Kolkata, India. The trains to Murshidabad may require a change at Malda Town. Confirm the train schedules and wait for your train. Once you arrive at Malda Town, transfer to a train heading to Murshidabad. The total travel time can be around 4 to 6 hours, depending on train schedules.

From any point in Rajshahi, make your way to the main bus terminal. You can ask locals for directions to the 'Natore' or 'Kolkata' bus routes. Purchase a ticket for a bus that travels towards Kolkata. The bus will take you across the border into India. Ensure you have your passport ready for immigration checks at the border. After crossing into India, continue on the bus until you reach Murshidabad. The total travel time can be approximately 6 to 8 hours.

If you prefer not to take the bus directly, you can take a rickshaw from Rajshahi to the border crossing at Benapole. This will take about 1.5 to 2 hours.
