Travel Guide to Sikam Twaisa Waterfall

Getting There

• Car

  If you are traveling by car within Sajek Valley, start from the Sajek Valley Headquarter area. Drive towards the road leading to the Ruilui Para. Continue on this road for approximately 6 kilometers until you reach a fork in the road. Take the left fork and follow the signs towards Sikam Twaisa Waterfall. The road can be rough, so drive carefully. After another 1-2 kilometers, you will see a sign for the waterfall. Park your vehicle in the designated area.

• Motorbike

  For those renting a motorbike, follow the same route as you would with a car. Starting from Sajek Valley Headquarter, take the road to Ruilui Para. After 6 kilometers, take the left fork and continue for another 1-2 kilometers until you reach the waterfall. This option is particularly enjoyable as it allows you to experience the scenic beauty of the valley at your own pace.

• Public Transportation (Local Pickup)

  If you prefer public transportation, look for local pickups (shared vans) that operate from Sajek Valley Headquarter to Ruilui Para. Confirm with the driver that they will take you to Sikam Twaisa Waterfall. The fare is generally around 50-100 BDT per person. Once you arrive at Ruilui Para, you may have to walk approximately 1-2 kilometers to reach the waterfall.

• Walking

  If you are already near the waterfall and wish to walk, start from the nearest village or checkpoint in Sajek Valley. Follow the local trails or paths that lead to Sikam Twaisa Waterfall. Ensure you have a local guide if you're unfamiliar with the terrain, as some paths may be tricky.
