Public Transport
To reach Agun Pahar via public transport from Sylhet, first, take a bus from Sylhet city to Jaintiapur. Buses frequently depart from the Sobhani Ghat or Dhopadighir Par area. The bus fare is approximately 50 BDT. Upon arrival at Jaintiapur, hire a local rickshaw or CNG (auto-rickshaw) to Shikarkhan. This ride will cost around 100-150 BDT. Ask the driver to take you to Agun Pahar, located on Utlarpar Road. From there, it's a short walk to the site.
Taxi/Ride-Share
From Sylhet city, a taxi or ride-sharing service (like Uber or Pathao) directly to Agun Pahar is the most convenient option. The ride will take approximately 40-45 minutes and cost between 300-400 BDT, depending on traffic and time of day. Direct the driver to Utlarpar Road, Shikarkhan. Ensure the driver knows the location, as it is somewhat remote.
Walking
If you are already in Shikarkhan, you can walk to Agun Pahar. From the center of Shikarkhan, head towards Utlarpar Road. The destination is about a 20-minute walk (approximately 1.5 km). Follow the road signs or ask locals for assistance if needed. There are no specific costs associated with walking, but wear comfortable shoes.
