Walking
From the cruise terminal, the city center of Bridgetown is approximately a 15-minute walk along the clearly marked waterfront path. This pedestrian-friendly route provides easy access to the main shopping areas and historical attractions. Note that the walk can be hot during the day, so bring water.
Public Transport
The Princess Alice Bus Terminal is located about 1 km (3 blocks) from the cruise port, behind Pelican Village. From there, buses run regularly to various destinations including Holetown and St. Lawrence Gap. You will need to purchase tokens at the terminal. A shuttle service is available from the cruise terminal to Bridgetown for $2 US per person.
Taxi
Taxis are readily available outside the cruise terminal. A taxi ride to downtown Bridgetown typically takes about 10 minutes. Taxi fares are regulated, but it's essential to confirm the rate with the driver before starting your trip. Fares to Bridgetown city center should not cost more than €4.80 (BBD 10). A 5km ride will cost about 39 BBD. There may be a surcharge for extra luggage.
