Getting There

Public Bus
From Holetown, walk to the nearest bus stop, which is located on the main road near the Holetown Police Station. Look for a yellow bus heading towards Speightstown. Board the bus and pay the fare (usually around BBD 2). Stay on the bus until you reach the Speightstown terminal. Once you disembark, walk towards the main road (Highway 1) and look for a bus heading to St. Peter. Board the bus, and it will take you closer to the Barbados Wildlife Reserve. Be sure to inform the driver that you want to get off near the reserve. The reserve is located on Benny Hall, and the bus should drop you off at a nearby stop. Walk a short distance to the entrance of the Barbados Wildlife Reserve.

Taxi
If you prefer a more direct route, you can take a taxi from Holetown. Head to the main street in Holetown, where you will find taxis waiting. Negotiate the fare with the driver before getting in. Inform the driver that you want to go to the Barbados Wildlife Reserve located at Benny Hall in St. Peter. The journey will take approximately 20-30 minutes depending on traffic. The taxi will drop you off right at the entrance of the reserve.

Walking
For the adventurous, you can walk to the Barbados Wildlife Reserve. From Holetown, head north on the main road towards Speightstown. It’s about a 4-mile walk, which will take approximately 1.5 to 2 hours. Follow the signs towards St. Peter and keep walking straight. The route is scenic and will take you along the beautiful west coast of Barbados. Once you reach Benny Hall, you will see the entrance to the reserve on your left.
