Public Transport
From anywhere along Highway 1 (the main coastal road) in St. James, the easiest way to reach Fitts Village Beach is by bus or minibus. Look for buses heading towards Bridgetown or Speightstown and ask the driver to stop at Fitts Village. The bus stop is directly opposite Jordan's supermarket. From the bus stop, walk towards the coast; the beach is a short distance away. The bus fare is BBD 3.50 (approximately USD 1.75). Ensure you have exact change in Barbadian dollars, especially for Transport Board buses.
Taxi/Ride-Share
Taxis are readily available throughout Barbados. Simply ask your hotel to call one or hail one with a 'Z' license plate. From a nearby location like Paynes Bay or Holetown, a taxi ride to Fitts Village Beach will cost approximately BBD 20-30 (USD 10-15), depending on traffic and the time of day. Confirm the fare with the driver before starting your journey.
Driving
If driving, head towards Highway 1 (the main coastal road). Look for signs indicating Fitts Village. Turn onto the road leading towards the beach.
