Walking
From the heart of Bridgetown, Brandons Beach is an easy 15-minute walk. Head west along the main road (Spring Garden Highway), following signs for the beach. You'll pass Kensington Oval cricket ground on your left. Continue along the highway, and you'll see the beach access point on your right, just before Rascals Beach Bar. Be mindful of traffic.
Public Transport
From the main bus terminal in Bridgetown, several buses head towards the west coast and stop near Brandons Beach. Look for buses marked 'Black Rock,' 'Paynes Bay,' or 'Holetown'. The bus fare is BBD$3.50 per person. Ask the driver to let you off at Brandons Beach. From the bus stop, it's a short walk to the beach entrance. Note that Transport Board buses require exact change in Barbadian currency. Mini buses and route taxis also service the area, often accepting US dollars.
Taxi/Ride-Share
Taxis are readily available in Bridgetown. A taxi ride from the city center to Brandons Beach typically takes about 5 minutes, depending on traffic. Expect to pay between BBD $12-15. Agree on the fare with the driver before starting your journey. Ride-sharing services are also available, but taxis are more common and readily accessible.
Driving
If driving from Bridgetown, head west on Spring Garden Highway. Brandons Beach is located just north of the highway. Look for signs indicating the beach. There is a parking lot available near the beach, and parking is free.
