Public Transport
From the main road (Maxwell Main Road), walk towards the coast. The bus stop is a short walk from Dover Beach Hotel. Look for a black and white pole with a circle sign that has a red border and white inner circle. Take either the blue government-owned Transport Board buses or the yellow privately owned buses. Route 27 goes to Oistins and Speightstown. A bus to Bridgetown will have 'Bridgetown' on the sign. The bus fare is $3.50 BBD per person.
Taxi/Ride-Share
Taxis are readily available in the St. Lawrence Gap area. A short taxi ride from a nearby hotel or attraction to Dover Beach will typically cost between $15-$20 BBD. Confirm the fare with the driver before starting your journey.
Driving
If driving, follow signs for St. Lawrence Gap. Parking is available near the beach entrance, but spaces are limited. Paid parking is available, though spaces are limited. Free parking can be found right next to the beach although the car park is very small. Further parking options are available along nearby streets just be careful not to block driveways or entrances for homes or businesses.
