Walking
From the Bridgetown Cruise Terminal, exit the terminal and head north along the main road (approximately 25-minute walk). Follow the signs for Brandons Beach. Rihanna's childhood home is located one block off the main street and is easy to get to for photos. Be aware of traffic driving on the left side of the road. The beach will be on your left, just past the Mount Gay Distillery.
Public Transport
From the Fairchild Street Bus Terminal in Bridgetown, take bus #25, #25A, #27, or #27D towards Black Rock. The bus fare is BBD $3.50. Ask the driver to let you off at Brandons Beach. From the bus stop, it's a short walk to the beach. Note that public service vehicles operated by the Transport Board accept only Barbadian currency, but most private sector minibuses and route taxis also accept US dollars at an exchange rate of USD $1 = BBD $2.
Taxi/Ride-Share
From the Bridgetown Cruise Terminal or any point in Bridgetown, a taxi ride to Brandons Beach typically takes 5-10 minutes, depending on traffic. Expect to pay around BBD $25 (USD $12.50) from the cruise terminal. Confirm the fare with the driver before starting your journey.
