The revitalized Bushy Park officially reopened in 2014, boasting a 2.01-kilometre International Circuit built to meet FIA Grade 3 requirements.Since its reopening, Bushy Park has hosted numerous international events, including the Top Gear Festival Barbados, the Race of Champions, and the Red Bull Global Rallycross Championship. Originally part of the Bushy Park and Pilgrim estate, also known as the Pilgrim estate, it was once owned by Joshua Gittens in 1819. Records indicate that enslaved people were connected to the estate, highlighting a complex history that predates its modern-day incarnation as a racing circuit.
