Public Transport
From Oistins, Miami Beach is easily accessible by foot or a short ride on a local bus (either the blue Barbados Transport Board buses or the yellow ZR vans). If starting from the Oistins bus terminal, walk east along the main road (Highway 7) for about 5-10 minutes. Look for signs indicating Miami Beach or Enterprise Beach. The bus fare is BBD 3.50 per person. Alternatively, take any bus heading east and ask the driver to drop you off at Miami Beach.
Taxi/Ride-Share
Taxis are readily available in Oistins. A short taxi ride from Oistins to Miami Beach will cost approximately BBD 15-20. Ride-sharing apps like Uber are not available in Barbados, but local apps such as BeepCab and BimTaxi offer similar services. Confirm the fare with the driver before starting your journey.
Driving
If driving from Oistins, head east along Highway 7. Miami Beach will be on your left, with parking available along the roadside. Parking is free. Be aware that parking can be limited, especially on weekends. From the Grantley Adams International Airport, follow the signs to Oistins, then continue as described above. A temporary driving permit is required for visitors and costs $10.00 for less than two months.
