Getting There

  • Walking

    From any location in Silver Sands, head towards the main road (Highway 7) that runs along the coast. Once you reach the highway, turn left and follow the road north. Keep walking for approximately 2.5 kilometers until you reach the roundabout at the junction with the A1 highway. At the roundabout, take the first exit onto the A1 highway, heading towards Bridgetown. Continue walking along the A1 for about 1.5 kilometers, and you will start to see signs for Bridgetown. As you enter Bridgetown, you will pass the National Heroes Square, a prominent landmark. Continue walking straight past the square until you reach the intersection with St. Michael's Row. Turn right onto St. Michael's Row, and after a short walk, you will find George Washington House on your left, located at 149, St. Michael's Row. The house is well-marked, and there is an entrance that leads to the visitor center.
