Public Transport
From anywhere along the west coast, the most convenient way to reach Holetown Beach is by bus. Several bus routes service Holetown, including routes 1, 1B, 1C, 1G, 1SA and 27. Buses operate frequently, with a typical fare of BBD 3.50. Alight at the Holetown bus stop near Scotiabank, which is a 2-minute walk to the beach. From the bus stop, walk towards the coast, passing the post office and Massy supermarket; the beach access is just across the road.
Taxi/Ride-Share
Taxis are readily available throughout Barbados. A taxi from Bridgetown to Holetown costs approximately BBD 62, and the journey takes around 10 minutes. From other locations along the west coast, fares will vary depending on the distance. Ride-sharing services are less common, so taxis are the more reliable option. Confirm the fare with the driver before starting your journey. Taxis can drop you off directly at the beach access point near Surfside or Zaccios restaurants.
Driving
If driving from the south coast, take the ABC Highway (Highway 1) northwest. Follow the signs to Holetown. Upon entering Holetown, parking is available behind the Holetown police station. Parking fees may apply, typically around BBD 5-10. From the parking area, it's a short walk to the beach, passing the Massy supermarket and post office.
