    From Leuven's Grote Markt (main square), the Kruidtuin is approximately a 10-minute walk. Head east on Grote Markt, then turn right onto Naamsestraat. Continue straight, passing the University Library on your left. Turn left onto Kapucijnenvoer. The entrance to the Kruidtuin will be on your right. This route is straightforward and well-signposted.

  • Public Transport

    From Leuven Central Station, take any bus going towards Gasthuisberg. Several bus lines (3, 7, 8, 9, 315, 316, 317, 333, 334, 335, 337, 351, 352, 358, 370, 371, 373, 374, 380, 395, 520, 524, 525, 537, 595) stop at the Sint-Rafaelkliniek bus stop, which is a short walk from the garden. From the bus stop, walk north-east on Kapucijnenvoer, and the entrance to the Kruidtuin will be on your left. A single bus fare costs approximately €2.50.

    If driving, parking is available in the Sint-Jacob parking garage, located a short 5-minute walk from the Kruidtuin. From the E314 highway, take the Leuven exit and follow signs towards the city center. Once in the city center, follow signs for 'Parking Sint-Jacob'. From the parking, walk north-east on Sint-Jacobsplein, turn right onto Dirk Boutslaan, then turn right onto Kapucijnenvoer. The entrance to the Kruidtuin will be on your left. Parking at Sint-Jacob costs approximately €2.70 per hour.
