Walking
The Handelsbeurs is located on Kouter 29, in the city center. From Korenmarkt, a central square, walk south along the Veldstraat. Turn left onto Kouter. The Handelsbeurs will be on your left. The walk is approximately 5 minutes. No costs are involved.
Public Transport
Ghent has an extensive public transport network of trams and buses. Tram lines 1, 2, 3, and 4 pass through the city center. Get off at the Kouter stop, which is directly in front of the Handelsbeurs. A single ticket costs €3 and is valid for one hour. Contactless payment is available on buses and trams.
Taxi
Taxis are readily available in Ghent. You can find them at Gent-Sint-Pieters and Gent-Dampoort train stations, as well as Korenmarkt and Woodrow Wilsonplein. A short taxi ride from Gent-Sint-Pieters to the Handelsbeurs will cost approximately €23-€30. Keep in mind that taxi fares can be fixed or variable.
