Public Transport
From Gent-Sint-Pieters train station, take tram line 1 towards 'Gent, Flanders Expo'. Get off at the 'Korenmarkt' stop. From Korenmarkt, walk east on Sint-Veerleplein, then turn left towards the canal. Follow the canal until you reach Portus Ganda at Veermanplein 2. The tram ride costs approximately €3.00 for a single ticket, and the walk is about 10 minutes. A single ticket is valid for 60 minutes from the moment of your first validation.
Walking
From St. Bavo's Cathedral (Sint-Baafskathedraal), head south on Sint-Baafsplein towards Hoogstraat. Turn left onto Hoogstraat and continue to the intersection with Sint-Veerleplein. Cross over and continue straight onto Veerle. After a short walk, you'll reach the canal. Turn right at the canal and walk along the water until you see Portus Ganda at Veermanplein 2. The walk is approximately 15 minutes.
