If you are starting from the Aalst train station, exit the station and head south on Stationsstraat. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Langestraat. Turn left onto Langestraat and walk straight until you reach the main square, Grote Markt. From there, head towards the Church of St. Martin. Once you reach the church, continue on the path that leads you to the right of the church towards the river. After a short walk, you will find Werfplein just ahead on your left, right by the water.
