BBP Dansaert is more than just a bar; it's the birthplace of the Brussels Beer Project (BBP), a brewery that has been shaking up the Belgian beer scene since 2013. Situated on Rue Antoine Dansaert, a street known for its blend of trendy boutiques and historical charm, BBP Dansaert offers a unique experience that combines craft beer with a touch of Brussels' urban culture. Founded by Olivier and Sébastien, BBP aimed to bring a fresh perspective to Belgian brewing, emphasizing collaboration, experimentation, and community. BBP Dansaert opened in 2015 and is home to the DANSAERT lambic brewery, their beer shop & taproom. Behind the bar, you'll find their entire range of All-Stars, Pop-up beers & DANSAERT lambic beers, with a total of 24 beers on tap. BBP Dansaert distinguishes itself with its focus on spontaneous and mixed fermentation beers aged in barrels. In fact, it had been more than half a century since there was a new brewery dedicated to spontaneous fermentation in Brussels. The taproom offers a diverse selection of beers, from hoppy IPAs to rich stouts, and even experimental brews straight from the tanks. Pair your pint with tacos inspired by the vibrant flavors of Mexico City. Each taco is crafted with fresh ingredients and bold seasonings, designed to complement your beer perfectly. Visitors can also take a tour of the brewery, sample unfinished beers, and even bottle their own personalized creation.
