Walking
From Koningin Astridplein, the main square in front of the station, the entrance is directly accessible. The main entrance faces the square, making it easily visible. Cross the square towards the station entrance, taking in the impressive facade as you approach.
Public Transport
Antwerp Central Station is a major public transport hub. Numerous tram, bus, and premetro (underground tram) lines stop directly at the station. Check local 'De Lijn' schedules for the most up-to-date information. A single 'm-ticket' purchased via the De Lijn app costs €1.80 and is valid for 1 hour. A day pass costs €7.50. Tickets can also be purchased via SMS by texting 'DL' to 4884, which provides a ticket valid for 24 hours.
Taxi/Ride-Share
Taxis and ride-sharing services can drop off passengers directly in front of the station on Koningin Astridplein. A short ride from the city center (e.g., Grote Markt) will typically cost between €11-€14. Be aware of potential traffic congestion during peak hours.
Driving
If driving, be aware that Antwerp's city center is a low-emission zone. Register your vehicle before entering the city to avoid fines. Several parking garages are located near the station, including the 'Antwerpen-Centraal Kievit' car park directly under the Kievitplein (access via Van Imerseelstraat). This car park offers direct access to the station. Hourly parking rates range from €2.08-€2.68, with a maximum daily rate of €12.48-€26.80 depending on the day of the week. Parking Auto Ticket 1 day is only sold via the SNCB app.
