Walking
From the Dinant city center, head towards the Meuse River and the Charles De Gaulle bridge. Cross the bridge, and you'll see the Citadel towering above. Follow the signs to the base of the cliff, where you can choose to ascend the 408 steps or take the cable car. Allow about 20 minutes for the uphill walk. Cable car tickets are included with the Citadel entrance fee.

Public Transport
From Dinant train station, take bus line 433 towards DINANT Place Collard. The bus ride takes approximately 1 minute, and the bus stop is a short walk from the Citadel entrance. Bus tickets cost between €1-€3. Alternatively, it's approximately a 12-minute walk from the train station to the Citadel.

From the E411 Brussels-Luxembourg motorway, take exit 20 and follow the signs to Dinant. Once in Dinant, follow signs to the Citadelle. Free parking is available at the top of the Citadel. Note that access for people with reduced mobility is only available through the top of the site.
