Getting There

Train

The closest train station to Furfooz Nature Reserve is Gendron-Celles. From Dinant, take a train to Gendron-Celles. Trains depart hourly and the journey takes approximately 11 minutes, costing between €3 - €6. From Gendron-Celles station, it's a 1.2 km walk to the reserve. Upon exiting the station, turn left and follow the Lesse River on the right bank along the GR126 long-distance hiking trail.
Car

If driving from Dinant, follow signs for Furfooz, approximately a 10-minute drive. From the E411 motorway, take exit 20, Route Charlemagne (N97), then exit towards Dinant and follow signs to Furfooz. There are two parking options: a parking lot in front of the Furfooz cemetery, offering a picturesque 1.8 km walk through the village , or parking in front of the Gendron-Celles train station, followed by a 1.2 km walk along the River Lesse. Parking is also available in front of the reserve reception chalet. Parking is free. Be aware that the road to the parking lot can be bumpy.
Bus

From Dinant, you can take bus line 14 towards Anseremme. Get off at Gendron-Celles. The bus ride takes approximately 25 minutes and costs between €2-€3. From there, follow the walking directions from Gendron-Celles train station (1.2 km) to reach the reserve.
