Getting There

Walking
If you're starting from the Markt (the central square of Bruges), head towards the east on the Breidelstraat. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with the Steenstraat. Turn left onto Steenstraat and walk until you cross the canal. After the canal, turn right onto the Molenbrug, which will lead you to the side of the canal. Follow this path until you reach the end, then turn left onto the Walplein. Continue straight until you reach the main road and turn right onto the Langestraat. After about 1 kilometer, you will begin to see signs directing you toward Middelburg Abbey. It’s a pleasant walk of about 20-25 minutes.

From the central bus station at the station Brugge, take bus line 1 towards 'Zand' or 'Oostkamp'. After approximately 20 minutes, get off at the 'Middelburg' stop.
