Getting There

  • Metro

    From Brussels Central Station, take Metro Line 1 (the light blue line) towards Stockel. Ride for 5 stops and get off at the 'Parc' station. Here, transfer to Metro Line 6 (the light purple line) towards Roi Baudouin. Ride for 5 stops and get off at the 'Bockstael' station. Exit the station and head northwest on Avenue de la Réserve. After about a 10-minute walk, you will reach the Castle of Laeken, located at 1020 Brussels.

    From the city center at Place Royale, walk to the 'Parc' tram stop. Take Tram 93 towards Bockstael. Ride for 9 stops and get off at the 'Bockstael' stop. From there, head northwest along Avenue du Port and then take a left onto Avenue de la Réserve. Continue walking for about 10 minutes, and you will arrive at the Castle of Laeken.

    From Brussels Central Station, walk to the 'De Brouckère' bus stop. Take Bus 53 towards Drogenbos. Ride for 6 stops and get off at 'Bockstael'. Walk northwest along Avenue du Port, then turn left onto Avenue de la Réserve. After a 10-minute walk, you will see the Castle of Laeken on your right.

    If you're near the city center, you can walk to the Castle of Laeken directly. Start at the Royal Palace and head north along Rue de la Régence. Continue straight until you reach the Parc du Bruxelles. Walk through the park, then exit onto Rue de la Loi. Follow this road until it becomes Avenue de la Réserve. Continue walking for about 25 minutes, and you will arrive at the Castle of Laeken.
