Getting There

• Train

  From Brussels Central Station, purchase a ticket to Leuven. The trains to Leuven depart frequently, approximately every 15-30 minutes. Board the train heading towards Liège or Namur. The journey will take around 25 minutes. Once you arrive at Leuven Station, exit the station and head towards the main exit. From there, you can either walk to Klein Begijnhof (approximately 20 minutes walk) or take a bus.

• Bus

  After exiting the Leuven train station, you can catch bus number 616 or 620 from the bus stop located directly outside the station. The bus will take you toward the city center. Get off at the 'Klein Begijnhof' stop. Once you disembark, you will see the entrance to Klein Begijnhof nearby.

• Walking

  If you choose to walk from Leuven Station, head straight out from the main exit of the station and take a right onto Diestsevest. Continue straight until you reach the roundabout. At the roundabout, take the first exit onto Mechelsestraat. Follow this street, which will lead you to the Klein Begijnhof area. It's a pleasant 20-minute walk through the city.

• Bicycle

  If you prefer cycling, there are bike rental stations near Leuven Station. Rent a bike and follow the bike paths towards the center. Ride along Diestsevest and Mechelsestraat, which are both bike-friendly routes. The Klein Begijnhof is accessible by bike and you can park your bicycle nearby.
