    From Genk train station, take bus lines 31, 33, or 45 towards As. Get off at the 'Opglabbeek Zavelstraat' stop, which is the closest to the Terril Mijn Waterschei. From there, it's approximately a 15-minute walk to the entrance of the park. A single bus ticket costs approximately €2.50.
