From Genk train station, take bus lines 31, 33, or 45 towards As. Get off at the 'Opglabbeek Zavelstraat' stop, which is the closest to the Terril Mijn Waterschei. From there, it's approximately a 15-minute walk to the entrance of the park. A single bus ticket costs approximately €2.50.

Walking
If you are in the Thor Park area, follow the well-marked walking trails towards the Terril Mijn Waterschei. The trails are clearly signposted and offer scenic views of the surrounding landscape. The walk from Thor Central to the terril takes approximately 30-45 minutes.

Driving
From the E314 highway, take the Genk-Oost exit and follow the signs towards As. Once in As, follow the local signs to the Terril Mijn Waterschei. There is parking available near the entrance of the park. Parking is free. Note that parking may be limited during peak season.
