    From the center of De Haan, walk south on Langestraat towards the coast. Continue to the beach, turn right, and walk along the promenade. After 1.5 km, the promenade meets the coastal path; follow signs for GR 5A inland. The Wandelboom is about 1 km from this point.

    From De Haan town center, walk to the nearest bus stop on Langestraat. Take bus line 1 towards Oostende and get off at the 'De Haan - Bredene' stop. Follow the signs for GR 5A, a 15-minute walk inland from the bus stop. A single bus fare is approximately €2-3.
