    From De Panne, take bus line 66 towards Adinkerke. Get off at the 'Adinkerke, Kromfortstraat' stop. From there, walk along Kromfortstraat for about 5 minutes to reach the cemetery. A single bus ticket costs approximately €2.50.

    From the center of De Panne, head southeast on the N34 (Koninginnelaan) towards Adinkerke. Continue on the N34 for approximately 3.5 kilometers. Take the exit towards Kromfortstraat. Follow Kromfortstraat for about 1 kilometer; the cemetery will be on your right. Free parking is available near the cemetery.

    From Adinkerke train station, it's approximately a 20-minute walk to the cemetery. Head west on the N34 (Stationstraat) towards De Panne. Turn left onto Kromfortstraat. The cemetery will be on your right after about 1km.

Adinkerke Military Cemetery, situated in the municipality of De Panne, close to the French border, serves as a poignant reminder of the sacrifices made during the First and Second World Wars. Maintained by the Commonwealth War Graves Commission (CWGC), the cemetery provides a final resting place for soldiers of the Commonwealth and other nations. Originally established in 1917, the cemetery was used by Allied casualty clearing stations during the First World War. It was used again during the Second World War, particularly during the British Expeditionary Force's retreat to Dunkirk in 1940. Today, the cemetery contains 168 Commonwealth burials from World War I and 55 from World War II. Additionally, there are 142 Czech and German war graves, as well as one grave of a member of the Egyptian Labour Corps. The cemetery's design, by Noel Ackroyd Rew, features uniform headstones set in rows, surrounded by a low rubble wall. A Cross of Sacrifice stands within the grounds. Visitors can reflect on the inscriptions detailing the names, ranks, and regiments of the fallen, offering a personal connection to the past. Located 6 km west of Veurne and 3 km inland from Koksijde, the cemetery is accessible via a 50-meter grassed path. The site provides a tranquil setting for remembrance and reflection.
