Walking
From the center of Dinant, start at the Place Reine Astrid. Head east on Rue de la Station, passing through the charming streets filled with shops and cafes. Continue straight until you reach the river Meuse. Once you arrive at the riverbank, turn right and walk along the waterfront, enjoying the scenic views. Follow the path until you see the impressive Dinant Cathedral on your left. From there, you will see signs leading towards the Citadelle. Ascend the stairs that lead to the Citadelle, or alternatively, take the cable car located nearby for a more leisurely ascent. The Citadelle de Dinant is located at the top, with an entrance at Chem. de la Citadelle 1.

Purchase a ticket and board the cable car, which will take you directly to the Citadelle. The ride offers panoramic views of Dinant and the Meuse River.
