Getting There

    From Genk or Hasselt train stations, take the De Lijn bus service (number 45) to the 'Eisden Maasmechelen Village' stop. From there, follow signs to Terhills, approximately a 15-minute walk. A day pass costs around €6. Alternatively, buses 44 and 63 also stop near Terhills. A single journey within Maasmechelen with a Lijnkaart and municipal discount is approximately €1.

    From the Maasmechelen Village shopping center, walk north along Zetellaan. Continue past the Terhills Hotel, following signs for the Hoge Kempen National Park and Terhills. The walk is approximately 15-20 minutes. Note that there may be construction in the area.

    From the E314 highway, take the Maasmechelen exit and follow signs to Terhills and the Hoge Kempen National Park. Free parking is available at the National Park Visitor Center. Note that parking may be limited during peak season and there may be construction in the area.
