The history of Château D'Avin dates back to at least 1602, when it was depicted in a painting as belonging to Jean Dauvin, an archdeacon of Namur. However, evidence suggests the site may have been occupied as early as the 15th century, with old vaulted cellars and a tombstone dating back to 1573 discovered on the grounds. In the 19th century, the Château underwent significant transformations, including the addition of a second floor to increase its prestige. Today, Château D'Avin offers a range of reception rooms for hire, as well as a holiday home in its outbuildings. The Château's pleasant, adjoining rooms can accommodate up to 300 guests for a cocktail party and 140 for a sit-down meal. The outbuildings can accommodate 100 people for a cocktail party or private evening, and 60 people for a sit-down meal. The holiday home can accommodate 22 people.
