    From the Genk city center, walk to the bus stop at 'Genk Centrum.' Take bus line 35 towards 'Liège' and stay on the bus for about 20 minutes. Get off at the stop 'Ans Gare.' From there, walk approximately 10 minutes towards Rue des Héros. The Fort de Loncin will be on your left at Rue des Héros 15 BIS.

    Train and Bus

    Start at the Genk train station. Take a train to 'Liège-Guillemins' station. Upon arrival, transfer to bus line 35 towards 'Liège' and get off at 'Ans Gare.' Walk about 10 minutes along Rue des Héros to reach the Fort de Loncin located at Rue des Héros 15 BIS.

    Walking

    If you are near the city center of Genk, you can enjoy a scenic walk to Ans. Head east on Maastrichterstraat, continue straight until you reach the junction with Kolenstraat. Turn left and follow Kolenstraat until you reach the bus stop. From there, you can take a bus or continue walking. It’s about a 1 hour and 15-minute walk to the Fort de Loncin.

    Rent a bicycle from one of the local bike rental stations in Genk. Start from the city center and head towards the 'Fietsknooppunt' route.
