Walking
From the central station in Genk, head south on Sint-Rochusstraat towards Van Eyckpark. Continue straight until you reach the junction with Stationsstraat, then turn left. Walk along Stationsstraat until you reach the roundabout and take the first exit onto Maaseikerweg (N76). Continue on Maaseikerweg for about 1.5 kilometers until you reach the pedestrian bridge over the E314 motorway. Cross the bridge, and you will find yourself at the entrance to the bus station. Take bus line 33 towards Maastricht and get off at the 'Maastricht, Markt' stop. From there, walk south on Markt until you reach Helpoort, where you can find Jekertoren at Helpoort 1.
Public Transport
Start at the Genk bus station. Take bus line 33, which goes directly to Maastricht. The journey will take approximately 30 minutes. Once you arrive at the Maastricht bus station, walk towards the city center, following signs for 'Markt'. From Markt, head south for about 5 minutes on foot until you reach Helpoort. Jekertoren is located at Helpoort 1, right next to the historical gate.
Bicycle
If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bike in Genk. Start at the central square and head south on Sint-Rochusstraat. Follow this road until you reach Maaseikerweg (N76), then turn left. Continue cycling along Maaseikerweg until you reach the pedestrian bridge over the E314 motorway. Cross the bridge and follow the signs for Maastricht. Once in Maastricht, head towards the city center, and look for Helpoort. Jekertoren is located at Helpoort 1. The entire ride should take around 40 minutes.
