From the castle, exit onto the Sint-Veerleplein and walk towards the street called 'Sint-Baafsplein'. Continue straight on this street for about 5 minutes. You will see the magnificent Saint Bavo's Cathedral on your right at Sint-Baafsplein 1.

    Take tram line 1 or 4 from the nearest tram stop to your location (check local stops). If you are coming from the Ghent St. Pieters station, board tram line 1 towards 'Ledeberg' or tram line 4 towards 'Zwijnaarde'. Get off at the 'Korenmarkt' stop. From there, walk for about 5 minutes towards Sint-Baafsplein. You will see the cathedral directly ahead.

    If you have rented a bicycle, head towards the city center by following the main bike paths. From the direction of the Gravensteen Castle, cycle straight down towards the Korenmarkt. Once at the Korenmarkt, turn right towards Sint-Baafsplein. The cathedral will be right in front of you.
