From Hasselt, walk to the Hasselt bus station (Stationstraat 1). Take bus line 34 towards Valkenburg. The journey takes about 40 minutes. Get off at the 'Valkenburg, Station' stop. From there, it's a 10-minute walk. Head northeast on Stationsstraat, then turn left onto Bogaardlaan. Continue until you reach De Geulpoort at Bogaardlaan 1a.

At Hasselt train station, take a train towards Maastricht. After approximately 30 minutes, get off at Valkenburg train station. From the station, walk southwest on Stationstraat towards the roundabout. At the roundabout, take the second exit onto Bogaardlaan. Continue straight for about 1 km, and you will arrive at De Geulpoort at Bogaardlaan 1a.

Bicycle
If you choose to bike, rent a bicycle from one of the rental shops in Hasselt. Head to the route along the Maas river. Follow the bike path signs towards Valkenburg, which is approximately 15 km away. After about 1 hour of cycling, you will reach Valkenburg. Upon entering the city, follow the signs to Bogaardlaan, and you will find De Geulpoort at Bogaardlaan 1a.

If you prefer walking, it is quite a trek (about 18 km) but possible. Start from the center of Hasselt and head towards the south, following the signs for the walking route to Valkenburg. This will take you through some scenic paths. Once in Valkenburg, head towards Bogaardlaan, and you will reach De Geulpoort at Bogaardlaan 1a.
