From Hasselt city center, near the Grote Markt (main square), head south on Diestersteenweg. Continue straight for about 1 kilometer until you reach the crossroads at the intersection with the Mechelseweg. Turn left onto Mechelseweg and walk for another 500 meters. Then, turn right onto the Avenue de l'Europe. Continue straight for about 300 meters until you see a sign for the Rainbow fietstunnels. The entrance will be on your left. There are no tolls or access fees.

From Hasselt Station, take bus line 1 or 2 towards the city center. Get off at a stop near the city center, such as Leopoldplein or Diesterpoort. From there, follow the walking directions to reach the Rainbow Fietstunnels. A single bus fare within Hasselt costs €3. Travelers who take the bus within Hasselt limits pay 1 euro per journey with a 10-journey ticket with municipal discount. The Hasselt Pass must be purchased in advance. The stops where you get on and off must be within Hasselt limits.
