If you are traveling by car from any location in Hesbaye, you can reach the Champ de bataille de Waterloo by taking the E40 motorway. Head towards Brussels and then take exit 24 toward Braine-l'Alleud. Follow the signs for N5 and then for Chem. des Vertes Bornes. The battlefield is located at Chem. des Vertes Bornes, 1420 Braine-l'Alleud. There is parking available on-site, but take note that there may be a parking fee.

To reach Champ de bataille de Waterloo by public transportation, first take a train from any major station in Hesbaye to Braine-l'Alleud station. Trains run frequently, so check schedules for the best times. Upon arrival at Braine-l'Alleud, exit the station and look for bus line 130, which will take you directly to Chem. des Vertes Bornes. The bus stop is located just outside the train station. The bus fare is approximately €2-3, and it takes about 10 minutes to reach the battlefield.
