Car
If you are traveling by car, start your journey from the center of Hesbaye and head towards the N63 road. Follow the N63 in the direction of Herstal. Once you reach Herstal, take the exit for Rue de la Ceinture. Continue straight on Rue de la Ceinture, and you will find Fort de Pontisse at the end of the road. There is free parking available near the fort.

Public Transportation
To reach Fort de Pontisse via public transportation, take a train from the nearest train station in Hesbaye to the Herstal train station. Upon arrival at Herstal, exit the station and look for bus line 23, which heads towards Liège. Get off at the stop 'Rue de la Ceinture.' From there, it's a short 5-minute walk to Fort de Pontisse, which will be located at the end of the street. A train ticket costs approximately €5, and the bus fare is around €2.

Walking
If you are already in Herstal and prefer to walk, you can easily reach Fort de Pontisse on foot. From the Herstal train station, walk south on Rue de la Station until you reach the intersection with Rue de la Ceinture. Take a right onto Rue de la Ceinture, and continue straight for about 15 minutes. The fort will be at the end of the road. This is a pleasant walk through the local area.
