Getting There

Walking
Start at Knokke-Heist's main square, 'Het Zoute', located at the intersection of Lippenslaan and Zeedijk. From there, head south along the Zeedijk promenade towards the beach. Continue walking until you reach the intersection with Kustlaan. Turn right onto Kustlaan and follow it for about 800 meters. When you reach the roundabout, take the second exit onto Westkapellestraat. Continue straight for around 600 meters, and you will find Kleine vlakte on your left side, marked by a nature preserve sign.

Bicycle
If you have access to a bike, start from the Knokke-Heist train station. Ride west on Stationstraat until you reach the roundabout. Take the first exit onto Zoute, then proceed along the bike path that runs parallel to the coast. Follow the coastal bike path for about 2 kilometers until you reach the intersection with Kustlaan. Turn right onto Kustlaan, continue for about 1 kilometer, and you will see Kleine vlakte on your left, just past the residential area.

Public Transport
To reach Kleine vlakte using public transport, take the bus from Knokke-Heist town center. Board bus line 12 towards Westkapelle. Get off at the 'Kustlaan' stop. From there, walk along Kustlaan towards the east for approximately 1 kilometer. You will find Kleine vlakte on your right side, marked by signs indicating the nature preserve.
