Getting There

  • Walking

    Start at the Knokke-Heist train station. Exit the station and head towards the main road, Koningin Astridlaan. Turn left and walk straight until you reach the intersection with Zoute. Continue straight on Zoute until you reach the beach. Walk along the beach promenade heading west until you reach the end of the beach, then turn left onto Zeedijk. Follow Zeedijk until you reach the Knokke-Heist port area. From there, you can take a ferry across the water to Zeeland, Netherlands. Once you arrive in Zeeland, follow the signs towards Middelburg, which is the closest city to Tall John Abbey Tower.

  • Bicycle

    Rent a bicycle from one of the rental shops in Knokke-Heist. Start from your rental shop and head towards Koningin Astridlaan. Ride straight until you reach the coast and continue along the coastal bike paths towards the town of Westkapelle. From Westkapelle, follow the signs to Middelburg. The ride is approximately 20 kilometers and will take you through scenic countryside and coastal views.
