Train
To reach Historium Bruges from Kortrijk, start by heading to Kortrijk train station (Station Kortrijk). From the city center, you can walk to the station, which is about a 10-minute walk. Once at the station, purchase a ticket to Bruges (Brugge). The train journey takes approximately 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Bruges train station, exit the station and head towards the city center. Follow the signs for 'Centrum' and walk straight down Oostmeers street. Continue walking until you reach the Markt square, where Historium Bruges is located at Markt 1. The attraction is right in the center of the square.

Bus
If you prefer to take the bus, you can catch a bus from Kortrijk to Bruges. Start at the Kortrijk bus station (station Kortrijk). Look for the bus line that goes to Bruges (Brugge), typically operated by De Lijn. The bus ride may take about 45 minutes to an hour depending on traffic. When you arrive at the Bruges bus station, exit and follow the signs for the city center. It's about a 15-minute walk to the Markt square. Head down Langestraat until you reach the Markt square, where Historium Bruges is located at Markt 1.

If you are up for a longer walk, you can walk directly from Kortrijk to Bruges. The distance is approximately 27 kilometers and could take around 5 to 6 hours. Start from the center of Kortrijk and head northwest towards the canal. Follow the canal paths towards Bruges. This scenic walk will take you through the countryside and along the waterways. Once you arrive in Bruges, navigate towards the city center until you reach the Markt square, where Historium Bruges is located at Markt 1.
