Walking
From the centre of Kortrijk, head towards the Kortrijk Railway Station. Exit the station and turn right onto the Boulevard de l'Yser, following the signs for the bus station. Once you reach the bus station, look for bus line 1 or 2, which will take you directly to Ghent. After approximately 30 minutes, you will arrive at Ghent's main bus station. From there, follow signs to the tram stop and take tram line 1 towards 'Gent Dampoort'. Get off at 'Korenmarkt' stop, and you will be right at the Korenmarkt square.
Cycling
If you prefer cycling, rent a bike from one of the many bike rental stations in Kortrijk. Head towards the R8 road and follow the bike paths towards Ghent. The ride will take about 45 minutes. Once you arrive in Ghent, follow the signs for the city centre, and you will reach Korenmarkt easily.
Public Transport
You can take a train from Kortrijk to Ghent. Head to the Kortrijk Railway Station and purchase a ticket to Ghent. Trains run frequently and the journey takes about 25 minutes. Once you arrive at Ghent Railway Station, exit the station and head towards the tram stop. Take tram line 1 or 4 towards 'Korenmarkt'. It is a short ride, and you will find yourself at Korenmarkt.
