Getting there

Walking

If you are starting from the Kortrijk train station, exit the station and head south on Spoorwegstraat. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Lange Kouter. Turn right onto Lange Kouter and walk until you reach the junction with the Leie River. You will see the river on your left. Follow the riverside path (Leiepad) along the riverbank; this will lead you towards the center of Kortrijk. As you walk, enjoy the scenic views and keep an eye out for signs directing you to Broel Bridge. After about 20 minutes of walking, you will arrive at the Broel Bridge, which is located on Guido Gezellepad.

Public Transport

Start at the Kortrijk train station. Take bus number 1 or 2 from the bus stop outside the station. Ride the bus for about 5 stops, which will take approximately 10 minutes. Get off at the 'Broelkaai' stop. From there, walk towards the river, and you will see the Broel Bridge located on Guido Gezellepad just a short walk away.

Cycling

If you have access to a bicycle, you can rent one at a nearby rental location. Start from the Kortrijk train station and head south on Spoorwegstraat. Continue straight to Lange Kouter and then to the Leie River. Once you reach the Leie River, turn left and follow the riverside path. The route is scenic and bike-friendly. It should take you about 10-15 minutes to reach Broel Bridge, which is located on Guido Gezellepad.
