If you are in the center of Kortrijk, start by heading towards the 'Kortrijk Railway Station' (Station Kortrijk). From the station, exit towards the front and walk straight along 'Stationsplein' for about 350 meters until you reach 'Hoogstraat'. Turn right onto 'Hoogstraat' and continue walking for another 500 meters until you reach the 'Kortrijk Markt'. From the Markt, head towards 'Sint-Maartenkerk' and follow signs for the bus station. Take bus line 8 or 9 towards 'Lille' and get off at the 'Lille Gare' stop. From there, it's a short 10-minute walk to 'Republic Square'.
