If you are in the center of Kortrijk, start by heading towards the 'Kortrijk Railway Station' (Station Kortrijk). From the station, exit towards the front and walk straight along 'Stationsplein' for about 350 meters until you reach 'Hoogstraat'. Turn right onto 'Hoogstraat' and continue walking for another 500 meters until you reach the 'Kortrijk Markt'. From the Markt, head towards 'Sint-Maartenkerk' and follow signs for the bus station. Take bus line 8 or 9 towards 'Lille' and get off at the 'Lille Gare' stop. From there, it's a short 10-minute walk to 'Republic Square'.

From the center of Kortrijk, make your way to the 'Kortrijk Bus Station'. You can take bus line 8 or 9 directly to Lille. Make sure to check the bus schedule for departure times. The journey will take approximately 30-40 minutes. Once you arrive at 'Lille Gare', exit the bus station and walk straight ahead onto 'Rue de Paris'. Continue straight until you reach 'Pl. de la République'. Republic Square will be on your left.

From there, follow 'Stationsplein' towards 'Hoogstraat'. Take the cycle path towards 'Lille', following the signage for bicycles. The route is approximately 15 km and will take around 45 minutes. Once you arrive in Lille, make your way to 'Pl. de la République' which is located in the city center.
