Walking
From the Leuven city center, head towards the Leuven railway station located at Diestseweg 1. Exit the station and take the bus number 2 towards Hasselt. The journey takes approximately 45 minutes. Once you arrive at Hasselt, get off at the 'Hasselt Kapelstraat' stop. From there, walk along Kapelstraat for about 5 minutes, and you will see the Virga-Jessebasiliek on your left.

Public Transport
Start at the Leuven train station and take a train towards Liège-Guillemins. After about 20 minutes, transfer at the station 'Landen' to take the train towards Hasselt. The journey from Landen to Hasselt takes approximately 30 minutes. Once in Hasselt, exit the station and take bus line 1 or 2 towards the city center and get off at 'Hasselt Kapelstraat'. Walk straight for about 5 minutes to reach Virga-Jessebasiliek.
