Bus
From the central area of Liège, head to the Liège-Guillemins railway station. You can take bus line 5 towards 'Chênée' and get off at the 'Place de la République Française' stop. From there, walk west towards the 'Boulevard de la Sauvenière', then turn right and continue straight until you reach 'Avenue de la Libération'. Follow the street until you see the sign for 'Elisengarten' on your left.
Train
Head to the Liège-Guillemins train station and take a train to Aachen. The journey takes about 1 hour. Once you arrive at Aachen station, exit and walk towards the city center. Follow the signs for 'Elisengarten', which is approximately a 15-minute walk from the station. Head north on 'Friedrich-Wilhelm-Straße', then turn left onto 'Elisenstraße' which leads directly to 'Elisengarten'.
Walking
If you are already in the city center of Liège, you can walk to 'Elisengarten' which is located in Aachen. Start at 'Place Saint-Lambert' and head towards 'Rue de la Cathédrale'. Continue straight until you reach the 'Pont de Fragnée'. Cross the bridge and follow the signs towards Aachen. The walk will take approximately 1 hour and you will enjoy a scenic route along the river.
Bicycle
You can rent a bicycle from one of the local bike-sharing services in Liège. Start from the city center and head towards 'Rue de la Régence' and follow the signs towards the 'Meuse River'. Cycle along the riverbank towards Aachen, which is about 20 km away. The ride will take around 1.5 hours, and you will enjoy beautiful views of the countryside.
