Getting There

Public Transport - Bus
From the center of Liège, head to the Liège-Guillemins train station. Take bus line 5 towards 'Herstal'. You can catch the bus from the bus stop located just outside the station. Stay on the bus for about 15-20 minutes. Get off at the 'Rue de la Ceinture' stop. Once you get off, walk straight along Rue de la Ceinture for about 10 minutes. Fort de Pontisse will be on your left.

If you prefer to walk, start from the Liège city center and head towards the Meuse River. Follow the riverbank towards the northwest. Cross over the bridge at Pont de Fragnée, then continue walking along the river. After about 1.5 kilometers, you will reach a roundabout. From there, take the exit onto Avenue de la Libération. Continue straight until you reach Rue de la Ceinture. Turn left, and after about 1 kilometer, you will find Fort de Pontisse on your right.
