Getting there

Walking

From the center of Saint-Gilles, head north on Rue de la Station towards Rue de l'Université. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Rue des Guillemins. Turn right onto Rue des Guillemins and walk until you reach the Liège-Guillemins train station. This is approximately a 15-minute walk.

Bus

From the Saint-Gilles area, you can take the bus number 1 towards 'Seraing' from the stop 'Saint-Gilles' which is located at the main square. After about 10 minutes, get off at the stop 'Parc de la Boverie'. The ticket costs around €2.00 and can be purchased from the bus driver or at a local ticket machine.

Tram

You can also take tram line 1 from the 'Saint-Gilles' tram stop. Board the tram heading towards 'Seraing' and get off at the 'Boverie' stop. The journey will take about 10 minutes, and a single ticket costs around €2.00, available from the ticket machine or onboard the tram.

Bicycle

If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bicycle from one of the local bike-sharing stations. Head east on Rue de la Station, then turn onto Rue des Guillemins towards the river. Follow the riverbanks towards Parc de la Boverie. The ride should take around 10-15 minutes. Remember to check for bike rental costs, which typically start at €1 for the first hour.
