If you are starting from the Liège-Guillemins train station, exit the station and head towards the main road, Boulevard de la Constitution. Walk straight for about 15 minutes, following the signs towards the city center. When you reach Place Saint-Lambert, turn left onto Rue de la Cathédrale. Continue walking until you reach the Cathedral of Saint Paul. From there, take the Rue des Célestins, which will lead you up to the Citadel of Liège. The pathway is steep, but you will find signs guiding you directly to the citadel.

From the Liège-Guillemins train station, take bus number 1 or 4 towards Liège city center. Get off at the stop named 'Place Saint-Lambert'. From there, head towards Rue de la Cathédrale and continue as described above. If you prefer to walk from the bus stop, it's about a 20-minute walk to the citadel, taking Rue des Célestins uphill.
